Today, The First Sunday In Lent, and each of the following four Sundays, we will be reading portions of the passion account according to St. Matthew (26:14-27:66) at the beginning of the service. These readings are as follows:
February 22 – 1st Sunday In Lent: “The Passover and the Lord’s Supper”- Matthew 26:14-29
March 1 – 2nd Sunday in Lent: “In Gethsemane” – Matthew 26:30-56
March 8 – 3rd Sunday in Lent: “Jesus Before Caiaphas and the Council” – Matthew 26:57-75
March 15 – 4th Sunday in Lent: “Jesus Delivered to Pilate” – Matthew 27:1-31
March 22 – 5th Sunday in Lent: “The Crucifixion” – Matthew 27:32-66
- KKLC Choir Resuming: The choir will be resuming on March 15th! We meet downstairs in one of the Sunday School rooms, from 9:15 am to 9:45 am. Please consider joining us, all are welcome.
- The Chosen, Season 2 Study: Every Wednesday at 1-3pm and 7-9pm. Please see Linda if you have questions.
- Confirmation Class: Confirmation class will be held at the church on February 24 from 3:30 – 5:30pm
- Potluck Salad Lunch Next Sunday!: Please join us for out Pot Luck Salad Lunch on Sunday March 1 – please bring a salad to share!
- Law & Gospel Workshop: Join us as we study the role of the law and the gospel in the bible! On March 1st from 1pm-4pm! All are welcome! The fellowship committee will be providing snacks!
- Junior Youth: Kids aged 9-12 are welcome to join us at the church for junior youth on March 6th from 1pm-3pm! There will be activities, bible study and snacks!
- Community Wellness Advocate: If you or someone you know needs someone to talk to confidentially about any issues, consider calling the Community Wellness Advocate. Services are free or by donation, and they are held right here in our church. Zoom or phone appointments are also offered. Call 403-588-6983 for more information or to schedule an appointment.
