- VBS Work Bee: is scheduled for Sunday, TODAY after service (12:30-4). Lunch will be provided for those who stay after church to work on VBS props, crafts, etc.
- Sandwich Potluck: There will be a sandwich potluck immediately following the Call Meeting on June 7th. Please bring a plate of your favourite sandwiches to share.
- Call Meeting Coming Up: There will be a Call Meeting to call a new pastor immediately following the service on June 7, 2026. All members who has reached the age of majority (18+) are eligible to participate.
- The Chosen, Season 3 Study: The Chosen Season 3 video series, followed by study and discussion, every Wednesdays until early May. This is suitable for both youth and adults. There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board, where you can choose an evening or daytime session. Please see Linda if you have questions.
- The Raven Union church is celebrating its 100th Anniversary: June 13 and 14, 2026. We would like to serve tea/coffee in China cups and saucers after the service on Sunday afternoon. If you have any China cups and saucers or China coffee mugs that you can GIVE us, please contact Jean or bring them to the King of Kings Church. They will not be returned. Thank you in advance.
Sunday School Wind Down Party: Join us for the last day of the Sunday school year on June 28th. We will have a barbeque and yard games to celebrate. Bring your lawn chairs and food to share. For more info, talk to Karen.
- Vacation Bible School 2026: VBS is coming up on July 13-17 starting at 9am-noon. Ages 4-12 are welcome to participate! It will be held here at King of Kings Lutheran Church, for more info, talk to Karen. The QR code will take you straight to the registration page! We hope to see you there!
- Annual King of Kings Church Campout: on the weekend of July 17-19 at the Vohs Campground. On July 19th, there will be NO Sunday service at King of Kings in Dickson…. instead, Worship Service will be held Sunday July 19th at 11:00 am at the Vohs’ Campground. All are welcome. Details to follow and will be posted.
- Community Wellness Advocate: If you or someone you know needs someone to talk to confidentially about any issues, consider calling the Community Wellness Advocate. Services are free or by donation, and they are held right here in our church. Zoom or phone appointments are also offered. Call 403-588-6983 for more information or to schedule an appointment. Feel free to share this information.
