Taco Bar Potluck: On Sunday, June 8, we will be having a taco bar potluck lunch after service. The tacos/chips will be provided. Please bring the fillings for the tacos. 

VBS Work Bee: Please consider joining us on Tuesday, June 10, 10am-3pm (bring a bag lunch).We will be painting, cutting, creating!

Vacation Bible School: We are excited to welcome children ages 4-12 to A Mighty Fortress: Vacation Bible School, July 14-18! Registration is open on our website 

Historical Display in the Narthex – The display in the church narthex, created by the Dickson Store Museum, highlights the shared history of the church and school buildings in Dickson. It offers a glimpse into the early days of the community and how faith and education were deeply connected. On May 23, we were pleased to welcome delegates from the Federation of Danish Associations in Canada Conference. During their visit to Dickson, they toured the Danish Canadian National Museum, the Dickson Store Museum, and our church, celebrating our community’s strong roots and enduring legacy. On May 31, the Dickson Store Museum’s AGM and Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon will be held in the fellowship hall.

Register by Friday: Young Adults (ages 18-35ish) are invited to join us here at King of Kings for a Young Adult Retreat, June 6-8. Our theme will be “You Will Be My Witnesses” based on Acts 1:8. Young Adults from across the province have been invited as well as a number of presenters from different mission organizations. The registration cost is $60/person and the deadline to register is this Friday, May 23. Talk to Samantha for more information or visit the website.

Back to the Garden: A spring Workshop for Women: Certified Life Coach, Dierdre Franks, is putting on a FREE workshop on beauty, fear and freedom for women! It will be held on May 24 at 1:00pm right here at the church! If you are interested see the bulletin board for more info!

VBS Supplies Needed: Start saving your cereal boxes and large cardboard boxes for crafts and decorating. If you already have some saved, bring them to the church for the work bee on May 6.
